Kim is a senior conveyancing paralegal in the Residential Property team.

Kim has over 35 years’ experience of handling a large range of residential transactions, both freehold and leasehold and, having dealt with conveyancing in central and south west London for over 30 years is used to dealing with complex titles, variations of leases, lease extensions and suchlike.

Kim is also confident in dealing with unregistered titles and has a background in private client work.

Kim’s working life has always been in the law. Having started as an office junior in a firm of solicitors in Tunbridge Wells, Kim rapidly worked her way up to dealing with both conveyancing and, subsequently, probates.

Kim joined the firm in 2010 and now concentrates on residential conveyancing.

The pleasure of telling clients that they can collect the keys to their own home.

Kim lives in Merton Park. She has a great interest in British wildlife and we understand that her garden is developing accordingly. Her ambition is to maintain her own beehive.

Kim also collects Art Deco ceramics and 1960/70s studio glass and loves the cinema – particularly black and white movies.

Kim is still striving to find the ultimate G&T and greatly enjoys the experimentation.

“It has been nearly two months since we moved into our new home and I want to let you know that none of this would have taken place if it was not for Kim’s professionalism, expertise and attention to detail. I just wanted to say how grateful we both are for everything that Kim did.”

“We felt that we must write to you and say how brilliant Kim Barrett was in handling the whole affair of the above sale and purchase.

Her attention to detail was excellent and she did everything to make the transactions as smooth as possible, even though it was all quite difficult. She kept a cheerful, professional attitude to the while business and guided us through everything brilliantly.

We cannot thank her enough for all her help, kindness and understanding. There were numerous times when we felt like giving up but Kim kept us all going! She has the patience of a saint!”
