We are currently seeking a paralegal to work with the Commercial and Dispute Resolution team. The person will support the three fee earners in that team on a range of commercial property, corporate/commercial and dispute resolution matters. The role may also involve administrative tasks in the team and the wider firm as required.
Whilst based in the Wimbledon Village office, the role may require visits to our Epsom office, trips to court and suchlike.
Candidates will need a minimum 2:1 degree (not necessarily in Law), and good results for a GDL (if required) and the LPC.
An interest in commercial property and dispute resolution is essential, as are organisational and IT skills. We also look for strong interpersonal skills, confidence and a rounded personality. The working environment is friendly and supportive.
For the right candidate, we genuinely hope to offer a training contract in due course (after at least six months) and would expect at least the first training seat to be in the Commercial and Dispute Resolution team (therefore likely a minimum of 1 year with that team). Our training contracts offer exposure to contentious and non-contentious work. Whilst the successful candidate’s wishes will be taken into account, seats will be determined by business needs. Available seats may include Residential Property, Private Client and Family.
