John founded the firm in 1991, having been headhunted by a major client who had asked John to become their in-house lawyer. Instead John founded the practice, and since that time the firm has grown exponentially, covering most disciplines other than crime.

John qualified as a solicitor in 1982.

John is now a non-practising consultant.

John undertook his ‘Articles’ in the City, during which time he gained experience in a wide range of commercial skills, including commercial litigation. His career has included spells outside the law, where clients have enticed him to bring his skills ‘in-house’ for them, and he has therefore been both a client, and an adviser. This included work on behalf of a foreign government, which involved very high net value for the parties.

With this background, the functions of the firm have been manifold, and it has allowed specific expertise to accrue to the various departments within the firm.

John now has more time to be able to indulge his twin passions of sailing and cars, but he still attends the office regularly, as apparently “old habits die hard”!
